The GAN 17 MagDrive introduces a new magnetic architecture built around an ultra-compact 17.5 mm magnetic micro-core. Its purpose is to assist each turn throughout the entire rotation, rather than only during the final alignment of the layers.

Its Celestial Magnetic-Dynamic System remains active throughout the turn: from 0 to 45°, the cube generates a magnetic restoring effect, while from 45 to 90°, the movement is progressively guided towards its final position. This creates continuous magnetic assistance from the beginning to the end of each rotation.

The GAN 17 features a total of 196 magnets, including a 20-magnet Ball-Core with corner-to-core magnets. This configuration contributes to the cube's auto-alignment and stability. GAN also uses an omnidirectional spherical support structure designed to combine speed and stability.

The MagLev system replaces traditional springs with repelling magnets for fast, smooth and consistent turning. It is combined with a highly adjustable digital tuning system offering 72 configurations, allowing you to fine-tune the cube's behaviour and easily reproduce your preferred settings.
