✅ Features

  • Type: Hydroxy-based, non-silicone lubricant. Very viscous and heavy.

  • Effect: Slows down very fast “out of the box” cubes, making them more controllable and precise. Provides a smoother, more connected feeling between the pieces.

  • Appearance: Amber-orange color, thick “heavy / sticky” texture.

  • Duration: Long-lasting thanks to its high viscosity. Requires less frequent reapplication than lighter lubricants.

⚠️ Notes / Limitations

  • Target use: Recommended only for internal tracks of the cube pieces (contact surfaces inside the mechanism). Not for external faces or the whole cube, otherwise it may become too slow.

  • Break-in: After applying, the cube should be used for several solves to distribute the lubricant properly and reach the intended feeling.

  • Cleaning: Water-soluble, so it can be easily cleaned with water and a cloth if too much is applied.

  • Initial feel: May seem very sticky/heavy at first, especially if applied in excess.

🔧 Application instructions

  1. Partially disassemble the cube (remove at least one edge piece) to access the internal track.

  2. Apply a small amount of Superhoney to the internal parts near the core.

  3. Reassemble the cube and break it in by turning and solving it several times, so the lube spreads evenly.

  4. If the cube becomes too slow/sticky, you can add a lighter, faster lube, or remove the excess and clean the tracks with water.

💡 Who is it for? / Best use case

  • Perfect if you use a very fast cube out of the box and find it too nervous or hard to control.

  • Great if you enjoy a smoother, heavier, and more controlled feel with less glide.

  • Less suitable if you want maximum speed, ultra-fluid feeling, or if your cube is already slow—Superhoney might make it too sluggish.
